FORT WORTH, Texas (December 13, 2023) - Per the Texas Tax Code, the Tarrant Appraisal District is still receiving resolutions for the 2024 Board of Director Appointments and will continue to do so before December 15th, the deadline per Texas law. At that time, the Chief Appraiser will compile the results and submit the five nominees with the highest votes to the taxing units before December 31st. No official announcement will be made before that time.

Tarrant Appraisal District is a special purpose local government that performs mass appraisal services as accurately as possible based on the data and information collected from the local real estate market. The district follows all state laws in performing this function and aims to provide outstanding customer service to the taxpayers of Tarrant County.
